2-Day Course Outline

Below is a guide to the topics covered and the flow you can expect when attending the 2-day workshop. Emphasis will be on how to apply these tools in an efficient manner, congruent with the current mode of health care delivery.Remember that the supporting theory and physiology behind these tools will also be discussed. 

Both days include time for demonstrations, questions and some informal practice (one-on-one). Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided.

Day 1

  1. The Stuck Patient – Discover the key principles and frames of thinking that lead to deep empowerment and change
  2. Stuck in  Negative Thinking – Learn a powerful way to shift your patient’s frame of reference, both during the visit and long-term

Stuck in Victim ID – Know how to help your patients recover their resourcefulness and create great goals/action plans

  1. Stuck in Overwhelm – Learn a key tool that both re-creates the big picture and uncovers the next right steps
  2. Stuck in Addictive Behaviors – Find out how to uncover hidden intentions and strengthen your patient’s capacity to make healthful choices
  3. The Incessant Negative Talker – Be able to easily interrupt “catastrophization” and repetitive stories, while orienting your patient back to the positive

Day 2
