Rahul works as an integrative medical physician, professional coach, trauma-sensitive mindfulness instructor, and advocate for physician wellness. He is a Certified MBSR Teacher through the Center for Mindfulness to facilitate Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programs and offers this service to both physicians and patients. He also is a professional coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation and supports healthcare providers, both invididually and as part of teams. He lives and works in Gibsons, BC and travels throughout the province to speak on the topics of patient self-management and provider self-care.

He currently works in the following capacities:

• 8-Week MBSR Certified Teacher
• Individual & Team Coach
• Coaching consultant to local family physicians, seeing patients stuck in mood disorders, complex pain, trauma, addictions and chronic disease
• Facilitator for MD workshops on Transformative Dialogue (integration of Motivational Interviewing, Health Coaching, Positive Psychology, Somatic Experiencing & Mindfulness)
• Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Family Medicine, UBC
